I was super fortunate to be invited to shoot the inaugural Steamboat Gravel cycling event in the fall of 2019. SBTGRVL consisted of 4 different distances, a 144 mile Black course, a 103 mile Blue course, a 64 mile Red course, and a 37 mile Green course. The event was held on the incredibly scenic roads around Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which definitely made for some amazing images. I worked with an amazing crew of great photographers put together by my friend and event photography director Wil Matthews. I was really looking forward to building on my experience at the event and shooting the 2020 SBTGRVL event, however unfortunately that was been cancelled due to Covid-19. Looking forward to returning in 2021!
